1. Acceptance of Terms & Work-Finding Services

By registering with DerventioUK Limited ("DerventioUK", "we", "us"), you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

By submitting your details, you agree that DerventioUK may provide work-finding services to you in accordance with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.

Registration is free of charge. DerventioUK does not charge work-seekers for providing work-finding services.

2. Nature of Services

DerventioUK provides recruitment and work-finding services for:

• Temporary / Contract assignments (Employment Business)
• Permanent employment opportunities (Employment Agency)

We will use reasonable efforts to find suitable opportunities but do not guarantee placement.

3. Candidate Information & Suitability

To comply with legal obligations and REC standards, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including:

• Identity and contact details
• Right to work in the UK
• Qualifications, training and experience
• Employment history and references where required
• Any relevant restrictions affecting your ability to work

DerventioUK will assess suitability for roles before submission to clients.

Providing false or misleading information may result in removal from our database and termination of representation.

4. Right to Work & Compliance

You must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

You agree to provide documentation and information required for:

• Right-to-work verification
• Compliance checks
• DBS or background checks where applicable
• Regulatory or client-specific requirements

Failure to provide required documentation may prevent placement.

5. Confidentiality & Client Submission

Your personal data will be handled in strict confidence.

• We will only share relevant work-related information with potential employers/clients where necessary to obtain work.
• Sensitive personal data will be redacted where possible prior to submission.
• We will not sell your personal data.

Submission of your details to a client is solely for the purpose of work-finding services.

6. Data Protection & UK GDPR

DerventioUK processes personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

We process your data under:

• Legitimate Interest – recruitment and work-finding services
• Contract – where you are placed into employment/assignment
• Legal Obligation – tax, employment and regulatory compliance
• Consent – where required

Your data may be used for:

• Matching you with work opportunities
• Contacting you regarding assignments or employment
• Payroll and assignment administration (where applicable)
• Legal and regulatory compliance

7. Data Retention

Your information will be retained only as long as necessary for recruitment and compliance purposes, typically up to 6 years in line with employment and HMRC requirements.

10. No Fees to Work-Seekers

In accordance with the Conduct Regulations, DerventioUK does not charge work-seekers for providing work-finding services, including:

• Registration
• CV submission
• Job matching
• Placement into temporary or permanent roles

11. Communication Consent

By registering, you consent to being contacted by:

• Phone
• Email
• SMS / messaging

For work-finding and job-related communication only.

12. Changes to Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. The version in force at the time of registration will apply.

By registering, you confirm that:

• You agree to DerventioUK providing work-finding services
• You consent to your data being processed for recruitment purposes under UK GDPR
• You understand your data may be shared with clients (with sensitive data redacted)
• You confirm you have the legal right to work in the UK
• You understand you can request removal of your data at any time via admin@derventiouk.com
