DerventioUK Ltd
Published: 5 March 2026
Introduction
DerventioUK Ltd is committed to preventing modern slavery, forced labour, servitude and human trafficking in all areas of our business and supply chains. We recognise that recruitment businesses have an important responsibility in ensuring that workers are treated fairly, ethically and lawfully.
This statement is made pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps DerventioUK Ltd takes to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking do not occur within our organisation, our recruitment activities, or the supply chains in which we operate.
Our Business
DerventioUK Ltd is a UK-based recruitment and workforce solutions provider supplying temporary, contract and permanent staff across sectors including logistics, warehousing, distribution and commercial operations.
Our role as a labour provider places us in a position of responsibility to protect workers and to ensure that ethical recruitment standards are upheld at every stage of the hiring process.
Our Commitment
DerventioUK Ltd operates a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We are committed to acting ethically, responsibly and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.
We actively support the principles of fair treatment, transparency, and worker protection and expect the same standards from the organisations we work with.
Recruitment and Worker Protection
As a recruitment business supplying labour to clients, we implement procedures designed to safeguard workers and prevent exploitation. These include:
-
Verifying the identity and legal right to work in the UK for all workers before placement
-
Ensuring all workers engage with DerventioUK voluntarily and without coercion
-
Ensuring workers retain control of their own identification and personal documents
-
Providing clear written terms outlining pay rates, working conditions and assignment details
-
Ensuring workers are paid in accordance with National Minimum Wage, National Living Wage and applicable employment legislation
-
Ensuring workers understand their rights and how to report concerns
We do not charge workers recruitment fees or engage in practices that could place individuals in debt bondage or financial coercion.
Due Diligence and Supply Chain Responsibility
DerventioUK works with a wide range of client organisations and expects all partners and clients to share our commitment to ethical labour standards.
Where appropriate we seek assurance that organisations we work with operate in accordance with:
-
UK employment law
-
Modern Slavery Act requirements
-
Fair labour practices and safe working conditions
We will not knowingly work with organisations that are involved in exploitative labour practices.
Risk Assessment
As a labour provider operating within supply chains that include logistics and distribution sectors, we recognise that certain industries may carry increased risks relating to worker exploitation.
To mitigate these risks we maintain robust recruitment checks and remain vigilant in identifying potential indicators of modern slavery or worker exploitation.
Training and Awareness
Our recruitment team and management maintain awareness of modern slavery risks within labour supply chains. Staff are encouraged to remain vigilant and to report any concerns regarding unethical treatment of workers.
Reporting and Whistleblowing
DerventioUK encourages employees, workers, clients and partners to report concerns relating to modern slavery or worker exploitation.
All concerns are treated seriously and investigated appropriately. We are committed to protecting individuals who raise concerns in good faith.
Continuous Improvement
DerventioUK Ltd will continue to review and strengthen our procedures, policies and due diligence processes to ensure ongoing compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and to promote ethical recruitment practices across all areas of our operations.
