How to Upload Compliance Right to Work Documents Correctly

By Georgia H 18 Sep 2023

At Derventio UK, we take compliance seriously. Ensuring that all our candidates have the right to work in the UK is not only a legal requirement but also a crucial step in the onboarding process. We understand that uploading the correct documents can sometimes be confusing, so we've put together this guide to help you correctly upload your compliance right to work documents and breeze through our registration process.

1. Passport or Birth Certificate Image:

When uploading images of your passport or birth certificate, it's essential to ensure they meet certain criteria:

  • Clarity: The image should be clear and legible. Ensure that all the information on your document is visible and easy to read.

  • Minimal Background: The document should be the focus of the image. Remove any clutter or distractions from the background to ensure that it is easily identifiable.

2. Proof of Address:

For proof of address, we accept a variety of documents. Some examples of acceptable evidence of proof of address include:

  • Utility Bills: A recent gas, electricity, water, or landline phone bill that displays your name and current address.

  • Bank Statements: A bank statement issued within the last three months that shows your name and address.

  • Council Tax Statement: A copy of your council tax statement with your name and address.

  • Tenancy Agreement: A signed tenancy agreement showing your name and current address.

Remember, the document should be current, and the address should match the one you provided during registration.

3. Proof of National Insurance:

To prove your national insurance, you can upload any of the following documents:

  • National Insurance Card: A copy or clear photo of your physical national insurance card.

  • Payslips: Recent payslips that include your national insurance number.

  • P45/P60: A copy of your P45 or P60 form, which also displays your national insurance number.

Ensuring your national insurance information is correct is essential, especially for tax and employment purposes.

4. Driving Roles:

If you are applying for a driving role, it's crucial to upload clear images of the front and back of your driving license. This ensures that we have all the necessary information to assess your eligibility for the position.

Additional Tips:

  • Always double-check the information on your documents before uploading to ensure accuracy.

  • Use good lighting when taking photos or scanning documents to ensure clarity.

  • If you have any doubts about the document's validity, please contact our team for guidance.

At Derventio UK, we strive to make the onboarding process as smooth as possible. By following these guidelines, you can help us maintain compliance and get started on your career journey with confidence.

If you have any questions or need assistance with the document upload process, don't hesitate to reach out to our dedicated support team. We're here to help you every step of the way.
